Carrera VDL left a lasting impression with his accomplishments in the showjumping arena with Jur Vrieling. The Grand Prix-stallion has an exquisite pedigree so it is no wonder that the stallion is earning his stripes in breeding now. New Ginea carries all the right genes, coming out of a lineage filled with predicates and sports. Dam Aginea-Go (s.Lupicor) already produced a 1.35m showjumper and is a half-sister to Joaquin Luaces’ 1.45m jumper Twingo Tinea-Go and six other 1.30m/1.35m sporthorses. Elite 1.35m granddam Mirage-Minea (s.Voltaire) is also at the basis of the 5* 1.50m showjumper Woodstock O of Laura Kraut and is a daughter of Leon Thijssen’s 1.50m mare Ginea, who in turn brought the World Cup contestant Ness Go and the 1.50m jumpers Whinny Jackson and Daddycool Go. This dam line brought a wide range of Grand Prix horses, amongst others Crescendo-Go, Bonea Field, Rubynea, Zorland D, Double Eagle and Altaire, as well as the last autumn KWPN-approved stallion Jacquet-Go. Out of the first five dams of this foal, 22 sport horses of 1.30m level or higher descended, six of them jumped 1.50m/1.60m.
